The Pulse of Open Source was inspired by and based upon the code for Pulse of PDX. The site is managed / operated by Raven Zachary and developed / hosted by Michael Richardson (thank you, Michael!).
The initial idea for this site was based on a conversation at Open Source Think Tank 2008 between five Twitter users - Raven Zachary, Ross Turk, Mark Hinkle, Reuven Cohen, and Aaron Fulkerson.
